“Ron The Don” is originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma. After earning his Bachelors of Science Degree Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in 1972, Ron headed to Nashville where he spent over 30 years working side by side with Jimmy Bowen. His notable credits include work with Reba McEntire, George Strait, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams Jr., Conway Twitty, Lyle Lovett, Jimmy Buffet and Waylon Jennings. Ron has received numerous awards, including Pro Sound News Engineer of the Year for 1982, 1983 and 1987, as well as various gold and platinum album certifications.
